Covenant Christian Academy sponsors a middle school and high school athletic program that includes several sports such as soccer, volleyball, basketball, baseball, and softball. The program is overseen by our Athletic Director, Terry Abel and selected members of an athletic board. Each team is overseen by the coach who is resposible for organizing the team, collecting fees, purchasing equipment, overseeing practices and coaching games. Coaches delegate much of this responsibility to parent volunteers, so that they will have more time to work with the team. Parents also help with fundraisers, selling concessions, and end of the season banquets.

The program is open to non-CCA homeschool students and private Christian school students who do not have access to a school athletic program. Each family that participates must sign a statement agreeing to maintain Christian standards of behavior before they can participate in the program. Our goal is to provide a competitive athletic program that focuses on building Christian character in young people. Most of the coaches are home school parents who have a desire to share their enthusiasm for their sport as well as sharing their faith in Christ with the team.
