Covenant Christian Academy enrolls families in the spring and summer for the following year. Any family who is interested in enrolling in CCA should call the CCA office (256-882-3668) Monday through Thursday between 12:00-4:00 p.m. We often have a waiting list, so the earlier you call the better. We send out letters in the spring inviting families who have called to our Introduction to Homeschooling Meeting.

Requirements for Enrollment:

Both Parents must be Christians and active members in a Bible believing Christian church.
Both parents must agree that homeschooling is the best educational choice for their children.
The primary teacher must not be employed full-time outside the home.
Each family must pay a one time registration fee of $100.00.
Both parents must read The How and Why of Homeschooling or some other comparable book.
All families who wish to enroll must attend the following mandatory meetings:

An introduction to Homeschooling.

A 30 minute family interview.

An orientation session for the primary teacher.

Once a family has attended the Introduction to Homeschooling and an interview, they will receive a letter informing them if they have been accepted into the school. Only those families should attend the Orientation session in June.

Each family who attends the Introduction to Homeschooling meeting may pick up an enrollment packet at the end of the meeting and schedule an interview. Packets must be completed and returned to the CCA office at least 3 days before the interview. Each packet contains a pastor’s questionnaire that must be filled out by the pastor of your church. We also ask that you read the Statement of Faith to be sure that you can agree with the basic tenets. We are made up of families from about 80 different churches from many different faiths. However, we feel that these statements are basic to the Christian faith.
