We are in covenant to be Christ's ambassadors of peace to a troubled world, ministering the gospel of reconciliation to the lost.
The vision of Covenant of Peace Church (COP) is to promote and teach the gospel of the kingdom. The Hebraic principles of the Christian
faith are acknowledged and practiced without ritualism. Our goal is to restore to members of the body of Christ a Hebrew mindset.
Our emphasis is teaching the church's heritage from a Biblical Judeo-Christian viewpoint.
A key focus of our church is a return
to the Christ centered celebration of Biblical feast days defined in Leviticus 23. COP works in cooperation with Awareness Ministry
to promote the "Christ our Passover Celebration," one of the largest unity celebrations in the country. We promote the Menorah,
the seven branch candlestick, the symbol of the church. It represents the seven spirits of God spoken of in Revelation 5:6 and
the seven anointings referred to in Isaiah 11:2. As Jesus said in Matthew 5:14-15 the church is to be the light of the world.
Our mission is to be messengers of peace to the community, promoting unity among the diverse streams of Christianity.
COP
expresses appreciation and love for the nation of Israel and the Jewish people, and we are passionate about building a bridge
between Jews and Christians.
Hebrews 10:1 teaches that the law is the shadow of good things to come. COP pursues rigorous
Bible study to discover those types and shadows in the Old Testament and their fulfillment in Jesus Christ and his church. God's
law is eternal. The manifestations of God's law may change, but the principles do not. We seek to explore those divine
principles from Genesis to Revelation.
